1960s Kenneth Jay Lane Hinged Bracelet Worm Slug Creature / 60s Designer Cuff Blue Green Enamel Fantasy Whimsical Insect Animal / Glaris
Majestic early piece by the notable Kenneth Jay Lane, this c.1960s bangle can take you down many whimsical paths depending on whether it's a worm, a slug, a snake or a fantasy creature representing all your hopes, dreams, and symbols! Large and chunky, on a hinged opening, the body is delineated in green and blue enamel panels separated by gold bands. The bulbous heads each sport a green and dark blue eye in glass cabochon! Semi-abstract "gold leaf" style markings are found in the body and head in an asymmetrical scattering.
