This is an Art Deco sapphire and diamond brooch from the luxury French jewellery designer LaCloche Frères. The brooch is crafted in platinum and the central sapphire is a mid to dark blue hue. The darker tone of the sapphire emphasises the bright white sparkle of the perfectly matched old cut diamonds. This brooch is as wearable today as it would have been 100 years ago.
LaCloche is synonymous with some of the most exciting jewellery of the early 20th Century. The firm closed its doors in 1931, making their Art Deco pieces even more highly sort after.
